Quite a stunning setting. We had upstairs room with lovely character room - luxury with large shower and feature bath. Very quiet area so slept well. Spotless venue with evening dining and stylish outside bar area. Breakfast great as well with the nicest staff- starts 9am. Saw a previous, negative review when I went to write this- can only think they stayed at a different place as it does not match our experience in any way. We will definitely stay again as location is perfect for exploring and comfort is enhanced with their option of great bar area and restaurant.
We had the most loveliest stay. The property is beautiful, the staff are so so friendly and accommodating. The whole complex is so dog friendly it was very refreshing how relaxed everything was We would definitely return and have no doubt recommending this place to anyone wanted a nice chilled stay right near to Lyme Regis or surrounding areas!
This place looks absolutely amazing from the outside, lovely area and the “farm” itself is very pretty, the problems start in the rooms. again, at first glance, everything looks very nice, rustic and cozy, but then you notice everything else. walked in and quickly noticed the filthy torn up carpet, then the dirty stained wall, the broken lamps, the destroyed curtains, the shower that doesn’t drain properly. everything felt old and in a desperate need of renovation. the bed and bathroom felt clean enough, although the whole place felt and looked very superficially cleaned, dirt and dust hidden where it would take extra care and effort to get. was overall quite disappointing, the place has amazing potential and the staff was lovely (great food too) but the way the rooms were treated felt lazy and superficial, a real shame.
