Just under 2hrs from our home, Hillside was a great place to spend the weekend unwinding. Joy our host was very welcoming. She even took the time to give us a brief history of the property and the cottages. The cottage was an excellent size for couples. We took our own food but you aren't far away from the centre of York, where there are pubs, cafes and other sights. Including a motor museum.
We returned to Hillside for a third time recently and as usual had an excellent, relaxing break. Joy is a very welcoming host with wonderful attention to detail.The atmosphere at Hillside is perfect for a mini break - we’ll be back again soon!
What a wonderful country retreat is Hillside. My dogs and I were welcomed by Joy and her staff. The quaint cottage was fully equipped with all the comforts of home. The log fire was ready to light and the bed was super comfy. The dogs loved exploring the property and making new friends. An easy drive from Perth, we will be back!
