Hillstone Bodrum Hotel & Spa

I stayed at Hillstone Bodrum Hotel & Spa for 8 nights and it was truly a wonderful experience! The hotel offers breathtaking views over Bodrum, and the atmosphere is calm, relaxing, and perfect for families. The room was clean and well-organized, and the service was excellent throughout my stay. Breakfast was delicious with a beautiful view, and the pool area is perfect for unwinding. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful – their warm hospitality made a big difference. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, privacy, and stunning views in Bodrum!

We had an incredible time at Hillstone. The hotel staff were the true highlight, exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The grounds are beautiful, the suites are spacious, and the breakfast buffet and spa were fantastic.

“Worst Hotel Experience – Unsafe, Dirty, and Dishonest” I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience at this hotel was so shocking that I feel obligated to warn others. 1. Aggressive and Threatening Staff Behavior Upon returning to the hotel with takeaway food, I was aggressively confronted by a staff member who physically blocked me from entering with it. He then forcibly took the food from me without consent and used threatening, intimidating language. There was no sign, written policy, or notice anywhere in the hotel or during booking stating that outside food was not allowed. This behavior made me feel unsafe and violated, and is completely unacceptable in any hospitality setting. 2. Extremely Poor Hygiene and Cleanliness The room I was given was visibly dirty. The toilet was stained, indicating it had not been properly cleaned before my arrival. There was a persistent bad smell in the bathroom, and the general upkeep of the room was far below standard. 3. Infestation of Insects and Bugs The room was infested with mosquitoes, bugs, and even dragonflies. I had to spend most of the night trying to kill insects rather than resting. There were no mosquito nets, no bug sprays provided, and clearly no pest control measures in place. It was uncomfortable, unsanitary, and again, far from the standards any guest should expect. This hotel is not suitable for travelers looking for safety, cleanliness, or basic respect. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place and choose a hotel that values guest well-being and hygiene. Management’s lack of accountability and the hostile behavior of staff are completely inexcusable.
