Hilton Alpharetta Atlanta

One day getaway at Hilton after shopping in Avalon. I got touched by Mr.John at front desk. Although he seemed to be very busy with lots of things but John did help to take prompt measures with his sophisticated considerations, which was not superficial at all. To add what else I liked most, I loved the ALL GREEN TREES view from the room not facing the other buildings. Also loved the executive lounge (outdoor patio and beverages such as bottled water and other drinks too) Will definitely come back here again. Big thank you to Mr. John and also thanks to Mr. Cameron at breakfast buffet kitchen.

The hotel is large and beautiful, with nice rooms and a great location. However, the breakfast was disappointing. Despite ordering a la carte, the quality wasn’t great. Also, if there aren’t enough guests, the buffet isn’t available, instead, you’re limited to choosing just one item from a set menu.

Check in was a mess. I booked directly on the website and it charged me same day. When I arrived, the representative at the front desk tried to charge me the full total plus $50 incidental fee... I explained to her that I was already charged the full price and could show her on my bank statement. She replied "I understand that but it has not been paid." I showed her the charge and my email that states "We charge you in advance for your stay." After going back and fourth a few times, she called someone and stated "Hilton is doing something different I guess." and just charged me the $50. The rooms are spacious but could use an upgrade on a few items. Chipping chairs, etc. The elevator door scrapes and makes a horrible noise and the hallways are hot. The pool was also closed our entire stay, which was half the reason we booked. Great location, though. Quiet and in a good neighborhood. Would stay again, just need to get the check in process to be easier.
