I recently stayed at the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort and overall the experience was wonderful. My room was clean and well-maintained throughout my stay. The location is perfect, with the beach, restaurants, nightlife and shops just steps away. A great bonus was the free parking, which made having a rental car hassle-free and convenient. Most of the staff were warm, welcoming, and professional. My daughter especially loved the bracelet-making activity by the pool. It was a thoughtful touch that added to the family-friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious and the drinks were well made. The fish tacos were my favorite!! I also really appreciated the refillable water bottle provided in my room. Aruba truly has some of the best-tasting water, and it was great to stay hydrated without relying on plastic bottles. I also enjoyed the ease of booking pool cabanas or covered beach seating. Another unique feature we loved was the display of exotic birds on the property. My daughter managed to get one of the birds to say hello. However, I did encounter two employees who unfortunately seemed to forget to leave their personal beliefs at home. It created an uncomfortable moment that felt out of place in an otherwise relaxing and inclusive environment. Despite that hiccup, the hotel itself is beautiful and I would still recommend it to others with the hope that management continues to ensure all guests feel equally respected and valued.
Amazing view and pretty hotel. Nothing here was particularly bad or great. The beach service is really nice but the food and drinks are overpriced. Although, that should be somewhat expected. The restaurants on location leave much to be desired. The Sunset grill is alright but overpriced. We did the romantic dinner on the beach. The ambiance was incredible but the food was just ok. The breakfast place is a complete waste of money. $30/person breakfast buffet with just awful food selections. Imagine the quality of a complementary breakfast at Holiday Inn express but twice the size. The fruit is fresh but anything made is inedible. The amenities in our room were iffy. You set the shower to one temp but every minute it would hit you with a quick hot and cold flash. I didn’t mind the first day but when I was burned this really sucked. Our mini fridge was broken when we got to our room also. Aruba is equivalent to Miami. Beautiful but full of Americans and a horrible value considering the high price and low quality of the food and service.
My friend and I visited the casino after dinner. We spent about an hour there and it was dead so we decided to head elsewhere. We were quietly sitting in the lobby recovering from our big dinner and long day and sat there for less than 30 minutes. As we were getting up, security had just arrived to kick us out. No wonder this place was dead!
