Hilton Bangkok Grande Asoke

I stayed a couple of weeks at this hotel and can't sing enough praise on how excellent the staff is. Room service is quick and reliable. My room was always kept clean and nice. The rooms are spacious. Bar staff are very friendly and make great cocktails. Special thanks to James at the front desk who helped me find distilled water for my sleep apnea machine and had it delivered to the hotel. James also assisted me with finding great restaurants and places to go that were excellent. I hope Hilton will reward James and look for him as a person worth promoting. I have stayed at other Hilton's while in Thailand this was my favorite one thanks to the friendly staff. There's also another young trainee at the front desk I wish I could remember her name she was very kind and was also very very helpful.

Impressed by the staff at this Hilton property, out to really please guests and exceed expectations! A couple of examples, were the chef working at The Governor and the following day at breakfast came especially to ask how dinner had been the previous evening and brought us some fresh pineapple for breakfast. Concierge Jui was also incredibly friendly and helpful. He directed us to an excellent tailor and checked in on us to make sure that everything was okay on our return. A huge shout out to the team in the Executive Lounge- friendly, professional service at all times!

I decided to try Hilton Bangkok Grande Asoke during this trip, and first impressions were great. Check-in was fast and smooth, the front desk was welcoming, and my room was spacious with a big washroom. The bed was comfortable, though I personally prefer firmer pillows. One night I ordered room service and the food was surprisingly tasty—definitely a plus after a long day out. Location-wise, the hotel scores high marks: it’s right across from both MRT and BTS stations, and Terminal 21 is just a short walk away. However, the stay wasn’t perfect. The bell hops really let the Hilton name down. They didn’t greet guests, rarely smiled, and sometimes even avoided eye contact after initially seeing you—quite a contrast to the friendly front desk and housekeeping team. The pool felt small for the size of the hotel, and while there’s a gym, I didn’t get around to using it. Overall, it’s a comfortable and convenient base in Bangkok, but it lacked that warm, attentive service I’ve come to expect from Hilton.
