Outstanding Service and Memorable Experience at Hilton Birmingham Downtown at UAB I had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Birmingham Downtown at UAB, and the level of customer service truly exceeded my expectations. Tracy F. was absolutely outstanding—attentive, professional, and genuinely dedicated to making sure guests are taken care of. A special thank you goes to Lisa C., the General Manager, who immediately and graciously resolved a serious issue without hesitation. Not only did she address the problem swiftly, but she also went the extra mile by offering additional points as a courtesy for the inconvenience. That kind of leadership and commitment to guest satisfaction is rare and deeply appreciated. The bar and grill on the lower level also delivered excellent service—friendly staff, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere. A shoutout to the lovely young lady working at the bar who also happens to work at the on-site Starbucks. She shared some wonderful insight about Morocco with me—her warm smile and positive energy made my day. (P.S. I will definitely be visiting Morocco now!) Housekeeping was equally impressive—the rooms were consistently clean and well-maintained, and the housekeeping staff were friendly and detail-oriented throughout my stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Thanks to the incredible team at this Hilton location, I felt welcomed, valued, and well cared for. Highly recommended—I will absolutely return!

First time staying at this location. It was convenient for what we needed & we could walk up hill to several restaurants. The Blazer grill breakfast was not worth the money, so we never tried them for dinner. The shower was great, our room didn't have a microwave which wasn't a huge deal, but I could tell the room wasn't cleaned well prior to check in. They need to really clean the floors better. The beds were comfy, even sharing with my 4yr old. Overall, it met our needs for our trip and Tracy F was super friendly and sweet.

Love staying at this hotel. The gym is amazing. The rooms are clean. It's located by multiple restaurants and bars, walking trails and grocery store. The staff is always friendly. Hotel van drivers were fabulous coming and going from the airport. Shaud Was one of our drivers.
