Great hotel with an awesome ocean view. Location is also fantastic as there are lots of shops and restaurants open till late around the vicinity. Very welcoming lobby and even though the building is a little old, the rooms have been refurbished. Great place to stay at when visiting Cairns.

So impressed with our stay here.. our room was upgraded complimentary to a room overlooking the marina.. our room was clean and well appointed and the bed was sooo comfortable.. the buffet breakfast had everything you could want. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Perfect location too

I recently stayed at Hilton Cairns and wanted to share a balanced review based on my experience. The Good: The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly throughout my stay. Their hospitality truly stood out and made a positive impact on my visit. Areas for Improvement: Noise Levels: Unfortunately, the rooms don’t seem to be well soundproofed. Even on higher floors, outside noise was quite noticeable, which affected the comfort of the stay. Breakfast Hours: I found the breakfast time quite early for a holiday setting. It ends at 9:30 AM, which doesn't allow for a relaxed morning sleep-in—something many guests might appreciate while on vacation. In-Room Amenities: There were no complimentary snacks or even bottled water in the room. Everything, including water, comes at an additional cost, which felt a bit disappointing given the hotel’s standard. TV Connectivity: I tried multiple times to connect my phone to the TV using the instructions provided, but it simply didn’t work. I’m usually good with these things, so I believe the system might need an update or clearer guidance. Room Service Charges: I was surprised to be charged an extra fee just for the tray that the in-room dining was served on. A charge like this feels unnecessary and should be either included or clearly communicated in advance. --- Final Thoughts: Overall, while I truly appreciated the welcoming staff, I think a few adjustments in service and amenities would significantly improve the guest experience. With some fine-tuning, this hotel has the potential to offer a truly outstanding stay.
