Hilton Cardiff

We had another awesome stay at the Hilton Cardiff. We don't live far but when we need a night away from a house full of Teens this is our "go to." Rachel Williams from guest relations is the reason we keep coming back. She goes above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The rooms are clean and comfortable. If you can get an executive room with the Castle view it's worth it. The executive lounge with free drinks and canapés makes it feel special. The breakfast is something they do so well! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! Another successful stay wrapped up!

Recently had a stay here with friends for two nights. The staff are all incredible. Rachel in Guest Relations was a wonderful help in setting up some surprises for some friends celebrating their anniversary. She made us feel welcome and the added touches were so thoughtful. The breakfast is great! Plenty of hot options and food quality was good. I did find it odd that after 10 you could only order room service but not at the bar even though the kitchen is by the bar and the front desk folks are the ones who bring your room service. Rooms were nice, relatively modern. The furniture could be more comfy. It was largely decorative. The bed pillows were amazing. The shower was large but they only had a small plastic hand held shower head. The rest of the bathroom is nice they need to upgrade the shower head. Overall this was a great stay and would highly recommend. You can’t beat the location - steps away from the castle and the rest of town.

Right in the heart of a Cardiff City, immediately opposite the castle. The area gets very busy at night, endless bars and restaurants to choose from. The hotel is nice, rooms well appointed, though starting to get a little dated. Staff very friendly and welcoming. The lounge bar is very nice, but seem to insist on table service, which is nice if you have plenty of time, but not so much if you're in a hurry. Overall a good city centre hotel for business or pleasure.
