We spent 3 nights there. We came with our grandchildren. Everything was wonderful. Rafael and Jesus at the front desk were very helpful. Ingrid was our housekeeping person, she is amazing. Javier at the laundry was beyond his duties, he is really a gem. Our room was 634, with a lovely view to the sea. We had a really nice stay, and highly recommended.
Stayed here for a 4-night getaway. Highly recommend if you are looking for a resort-style hotel about 15-20 drive from the Historical center of Cartagena. The same lady at the front desk checked me in and out, she was so lovely and helpful but I forget her name. The room was renovated, spacious and had a private lanai-style balcony. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, delicious and with all the fresh, local fruits you could hope for. I got a great massage at the hotel spa on the morning of Thursday 6/19, she was fantastic. The pool area is nice but fills up quickly. The lobby and hotel bar has a nice welcoming feel and great vibe, especially right before going out for the night. Will return when we come back to Cartagena
Great Hilton property. Location to the beach was perfect and the pools were amazing. Love the jacuzzi in the pool. Check in was easy, Valentina was great. I had prearranged champagne and chocolate covered strawberries and it was taken care of after a few emails. They were a bit in responding but they got it done. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and loved our view from the room, there is also a balcony on every floor that gave the perfect sunset picture. Not sure if the beach was private but didn’t like being bombarded by vendors as soon as you stepped off. The bathroom needed some renovation but for a Hilton outside of the US, it was good. Bathroom is a little small and the lights needed to be upgraded, several rust spots. Don’t like the half door concept of the shower, it gets the floor wet. Walls were a little thin because I kept hearing my neighbors and people outside, not too much disturbing. The view to wake up to was amazing. It is about twenty minutes away from the walled city, but easy to get to with taxi.
