Hilton Charlotte Uptown

A great hotel in a great location. We needed to be close to the Convention Center, and the hotel's rear entrance is a block away from it, and the train/tram station is also right there. You're also walking distance from all the activities in the Uptown district, great restaurants and clubs (for great, light house music, check out the Novelty House). Staff provided an excellent, friendly service, especially at the in-house restaurant. The wait staff was very attentive and helpful. But also, the man at the front desk checked us in within 2 minutes and gave us a great dinner spot recommendation - The Roosters. A must-try! Rooms were very roomy, especially the bathroom. Water pressure was great in the shower and hot water was readily available within seconds (and wasn't scolding). Bed was comfy and the drapes created an almost perfect darkness. The desk was large and DIDN'T have a glass on it (my pet peeve because you can't use an external mouse on glass). Room features lots of outlets, USB ports, great lighting and shelf, drawer and closet space! I'd stay here again anytime!

I had a great experience with my visit to the Hilton uptown. While checking in early we were upgraded to a premium floor by Les and he was very helpful and inviting. Tiyah helped us with our luggage out of our vehicle and getting it safely to our room. She was very nice and helpful. She also helped us by guiding us out of a tight parking spot and getting us on the road. This was a nice experience.

This Hilton's staff was so friendly and accommodating! Armaan brought our bags up and we had a great conversation on the way. The front desk staff was kind enough to allow me a little extra time and I enjoyed the premium level lounge with drinks & snacks while here. We stayed in 2 different rooms as I added an additional night at the last minute. The King room was okay, but a little cramped and the bathroom wasn't as nice, plus it didn't have wand in the shower/tub. The 2 Queen bed room was wonderful! A lot more space and amenities. Who knew? We'll be back next year for our convention and will definitely choose the Hilton again.
