Excellent hotel with a busy atmosphere and team members that are on top of the details every step of the way. Rooms are modern and super clean with amazing views over downtown and the waterfront combined. Close to plenty of restaurants and sight seeing all within walking distance. Also plenty of amenities within the hotel itself, so never short of whatever you may be looking for. Big shout out to the valet team, tons of coordination keeping things moving smoothly and quickly. They were the first group we interacted with as we arrived and they are ready to help. Thanks much.
Great hotel right downtown, well worth the price. Beautiful views of the water and city buildings. The room was also clean and very modern. The Parking garage right across the street was very convenient, especially since there is a connected underground walking tunnel that goes under the street to the lower floor of the hotel. There are tons of elevators and an escalator for convenience as well. If there were any cons, it would be that when we first got there the parking was a bit confusing at first until we realized that there was a tunnel. But that was mostly on us for not researching further. The other con was that the thermostat in the room was capped at not going below 69°F. The air-conditioning does not emit enough air to effectively cool the room down. For us people overheated easily during bedtime, it was rather frustrating. I had to sleep without a blanket most of the night as the air-conditioning took several hours to get from 71°F to 69°F (which still wasn't optimal for me). I prefer 65°F, which I feel is reasonable for a hotel to accept. I'd rather be charged more than suffer whatever cap they force of us. Other than that, I would highly recommend staying here.
We enjoyed having a corner room with a view of lake Erie. It gets a little warm on a sunny afternoon so keep the drapes closed during the day when you're away. Sunset was excellent! We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Don't miss the bread pudding! The Nosh is convenient although prices are high. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
