Great location next to train station and the cathedral. Rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. Bed was good. Staff were very polite and service oriented. Front desk poorly staffed. 4 check-in terminals but only 2 opeators during the busy period from 2.45 - 3.20. I attended early hoping for room availability. My room still wasn't ready at 3.20 so I was allocated another.
Great stay at Hilton Cologne. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the cathedral and train station. The breakfast was amazing with lots of fresh options, including made-to-order eggs, pastries, and local specialties. Underground parking was very convenient and easy to access. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Excellent customer service at reception and in the breakfast dining room. Many staff were English proficient, which I appreciate since I don't speak German. I enjoyed the AC after 8 days in the countryside without it. (U.S. travelers with mobility issues, be sure to ask about accessibility when booking in Europe.)
