Hilton Colon Quito

We had a most enjoyable stay here in our Executive King Suite on the 18th floor. The view was remarkable. The room was spacious, clean, and quite comfortable. Elevators were fast. Staff was always friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was a daily treat, and the items changed a little each day. Wide options that all tasted terrific. (The coffee was too strong and not so great tasting, tho.) The executive lounge on the 17th floor always had nice treats to snack on, though it commonly was out of beer. Transportation access was great, with the $0.45 subway ride just across the street. Uber is readily available and inexpensive.

This hotel is fabulous. The front desk is super helpful. It is centrally located with a pharmacy and mini mart across the street. The breakfast in the morning is abundant. The only issue was you cannot control the air in the room. You can pretend you are but it doesn’t actually do anything. It’s quite noisy as it is located on a busy street but I turned a fan app on for comfort.

The hotel is wonderful, great breakfast, centrally located. Staff is wonderful. The only complaint is there is no heat in the rooms, and they should inform you at check in, and see if you would need a heater. We checked in really late and didn't know about the heat, so I was really cold until I found out the next day about the heater.
