Hilton Columbus Polaris

This is a very nice hotel near the Polaris mall area outside of Columbus. We stayed here to visit a friend who lives in a nearby suburb to celebrate a graduation. The hotel is nice and easy to locate. The lobby is spacious and beautiful. I took off one star because it wasn’t explained to me that my gold status didn’t include the $15/day/person my way benefits because the hotel has a lounge. Aside from that, I had no issues with the room/property. The lounge was great. It was in a room on the first floor. For some reason my digital key didn’t work but the physical key did. They provide complimentary breakfast. And there is an evening reception. You can access water and light snacks. The pool area was inside and pretty small but the fitness center looked very nice, with updated equipment. The hotel room was very spacious but the bathroom was a bit tight.

We researched many of the local hotels and decided on this one since it was close to the mall, many restaurants, and the dispensary is 5 min away by car. Had an amazing dinner at Outback (7 min drive) and called it a night. The executive breakfast in the E lounge was amazing. Spacious layout with the usual continental breakfast fare. We were greeted by an amazingly friendly barrista lady (Eveline?) that also tended to the breakfast bar and tables. It was nice to have such a friendly lady greet you before your first cup of Joe. There's a big screen for news, computers, several different seating arrangements and quiet. There is a cooler with alcohol which i imagine is all compt when open. (6-9) There is also a cooler with non alcoholic drinks that is complimentary throughout the day/night. Overall, it was a great experience top to bottom. Highly recommended at $250 for a double on a Thursday booked online in the car before arrival.

The hotel is clean and in a nice area. Staff is helpful and courteous. Room was nice and clean upon entry. Hot tub was nice and pool was nice. Lobby is very inviting and the bar for happy hour has a nice seating space. Multiple meeting rooms also. Check-in was easy and well located.
