Hilton Dushanbe

Executive King Room was large and very comfortable, with a dedicated large desk with back to the window. Disappointed that “executive” didn’t include lounge access (the lounge has been converted to a conference area on the 12th floor). The pool has a subterranean feel since it’s on the lower levels. There is a nice lobby bar with ample seating. Reception service is a bit off, no smiles or warm greetings and needed a lot of prompting for information or help. But overall very good for a Hilton level hotel.

I don’t like how they solve the problems with the customers. I don’t drink Alcohol, so when I ordered my drink I made it clear that I want it virgin with no alcohol, however, the food was containing alcohol and I was not aware of that, and when it came to my attention, I wanted to replace the dish with a nonalcoholic one, but they refused and they made me pay for it!! Even though I can’t eat it! They have zero client-satisfaction culture. Also, you can’t order room dining food around 4am even if you are hungry, because the staff are too busy preparing for the breakfast which is at 6:30am. Moreover, nobody took my luggage to my room, I had to take them myself. The power cut off during my stay, and I wanted to talk to room service and they told me that their phone us not working. I don’t recommend staying at this hotel.
