Hilton Garden Inn Athens Syggrou Avenue

This hotel is brand new, and so are all of its amenities. The rooms are exceptionally quiet — you won’t hear a sound from the outside, making it the perfect place to truly relax and rest. The air conditioning works flawlessly and is whisper-quiet, providing ideal comfort. The spa-style shower is a real treat and elevates the experience to another level. What truly sets this hotel apart is the outstanding staff — incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. They make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. It has become my favorite place to stay in Athens.

Where do we start with this amazing property? Great location, about 4 km the water front, the ruins, and locations like Flaka. Rooms are clean, and modern, and always impeccably clean. The restaurant and pool deck is a great way to spend an afternoon. Extremely attentive staff, you won’t wait long for a refill! Spoke with Daniel the GM, and you can see why this place runs so well. My wife had an issue with a cab driver that was taking advantage and charging too much for an airport fare. The doorman took care of business, and “educated” the taxi driver. Top notch place. One of the front desk lady was very helpful and nice. Other than that, this garden inn is a bit short of expectations. It has molds everywhere in the bathroom. The first night I sat one the bed, I immediately developed a rash on my leg. This is rare to me. After I showered and used the bath towel, it happened again. Maybe it was dirt or the detergent. In addition, breakfast greens were not fresh on quite a few mornings. The worst thing is they charge you 10 € per day for luggage storage! Got ripped off after a week or two. Not worth it. They must make a ton of money because the transportation in Athens is bad!
