This hotel was genuinely a very good stay for me and my family! Very friendly and helpful staff! The service was fabulous and the staff were always available whenever we needed help or any type of support! The location is also good, it's within good walking distance from the delicious local bakeries, the supermarkets and other multiple variety of shops nearby! In conclusion, I really recommend this hotel for individuals, for couples and especially for families!
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with comfortable furniture that made the stay very relaxing. Breakfast was a highlight — a great variety of delicious options, especially the omelets and the fresh cheeses, which were absolutely excellent. A special thanks to Gulsha at the reception — she was incredibly warm, welcoming, and went out of her way to help us, especially with parking our car. Her hospitality really made a difference. The hotel's location in the downtown area is also a big plus, making it easy to explore the city. All in all, a great experience!
I stayed at Hilton Balikesir from May 24–29, 2025 for a business trip. While the hotel initially met expectations — check-in was smooth, and the receptionist spoke good English — unfortunately, my overall experience was very disappointing, especially for a Hilton property. The room was clean and comfortable, but I encountered an issue with housekeeping. I requested my bed linen to be changed on 3rd day by placing the sign — not just once, but on multiple days — and it was never changed. This is definitely not the level of service I expect from Hilton. Breakfast was good, with a decent variety and quality, but the major issue happened at check-out. Since I had an early morning flight from Izmir on May 29, I asked the receptionist the night before to finalize the payment and provide a receipt. I was told that although I could complete payment, the official receipt could only be issued upon check-out. Unusual, but I accepted it. However, at 6 AM the next morning during check-out, the receptionist gave me a receipt with an incorrect amount — 2,000 TRY less than what was actually charged to my card. When I pointed it out, he could not fix it on the spot and claimed there was a problem with my card (which clearly wasn’t the issue). He then asked for my email and promised to send the corrected receipt. Days later, despite my follow-ups, I still haven’t received any receipt. This lack of professionalism and follow-through is unacceptable — especially from a Hilton-branded hotel.
