Thank you to Cristi and Alexandra for a wonderful check-in experience and stay! This is my second time at this hotel. It's so easy to walk to the airport from here. The rooms are clean and the restaurant is great. You do not hear noise from the airport either with their great sound proofing. Front desk staff are always wonderful too. I didn't arrive until 1am and Cristi & Alexandra had everything ready for me. I love this hotel and will be back for a 3rd time.
Stayed at Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest Airport and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The hotel is modern, beautiful, spotlessly clean, and everything smells fresh and new. It genuinely feels like everything is brand new and well-maintained. The service is outstanding – the staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. Check-in and check-out were smooth and quick. The rooms are quiet, the beds are very comfortable, and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. Even though the hotel is located at the airport, it’s surprisingly easy to get to the city – whether by public transport, taxi, or even walking to nearby areas. The location turned out to be much more convenient than expected. Breakfast was delicious, facilities are top-notch, and the overall experience exceeded expectations. Highly recommended for both tourists and business travelers. Will definitely stay here again – one of the best airport hotels I’ve ever experienced!
Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was disappointing and did not live up to the standards expected from a Hilton chain, especially not from an airport hotel. Despite being “upgraded” from a King Twin to a King Superior room, the room was exactly the same in size and setup — no visible difference whatsoever. On top of that, the room wasn’t even prepared as promised prior to arrival. We had to remind the front desk staff, who were extremely phlegmatic and indifferent throughout the stay. The location is also highly inconvenient for an airport hotel. Though it may appear close on the map, carrying luggage for over 500 meters through poorly paved walkways is far from practical — and there is no hotel-operated shuttle. The taxi services at the airport are handled by drivers who exploit tourists, and the hotel does not take any responsibility to assist. Accessing the lifts with luggage is uncomfortable, and as a Hilton Gold member, I felt completely unrecognized — aside from two small bottles of water and a very basic plate of fruit. The room lacked the typical amenities I’ve seen in other Hampton properties, making the stay feel bare and impersonal. This property sadly feels more like a tourist trap than a welcoming airport hotel. I do not recommend staying here — especially if you’re expecting the comfort, recognition, and reliability usually associated with Hilton hotels.
