Our second stay at this fantastic hotel. We love the location - handy for getting out of Torshavn to explore the other islands. The rooms are clean, large and bright - definitely choose one with a view. The staff are kind and friendly and do a fantastic job - especially the breakfast and housekeeping staff. Probably one of the best hotel breakfasts we've ever had - plenty of variety, and continually restocked. Overall, an amazing place to stay and hopefully we'll be back next year!
Best Hilton Garden Inn property I have ever stayed at and it will be hard to beat. The rooms were great, the views were great. It was about an easy 20 minute walk into town. Special mention to the hotel breakfast, very high quality and excellent selection. I would happily go out of my way to stay at this property again.
I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The location is not that good as it is not in the City centre. Parking lot was always full in the evening. The people at the reception are not very welcoming, for example: I was told I had a booking without breakfast, which was wrong. I had to proof that I am right and at the end i was told it is a system error. I had booked a room with view and got a room on the first floor directly the first one at the elevator, which was a little disappointing as i paid more than other guests maybe in level 3 or 4. Breakfast was good, but mixed feelings, too. There are sometimes large travel Groups and the buffet is always empty. One morning there even were no eggs available for omelett which is not good for a hotel of this level and price. The other morning there was no bread available. " chef decision" I was told. There were some problems as our room was not that clean as it should be and there was a clicking noise all the time which was a problem while sleeping . Unfortunately the hotel was fully booked. I missed some things in our room, for example simple things like a spoon for drinking Coffee and hat to go to the bar all the time. I paid a high price, nearly 400 euro per night and stayed 6 nights so considering this i cant give more stars. I told my problems the receptionists but get not the help that i wished, unfortunately:( Faroe Island are great apart from this experience!!
