Hilton Garden Inn Florence Novoli

My wife and I came here on vacation and used Florence as a home base taking day trip trains to other cities. This hotel is away from the city, but a 5 min walk to the light rail tram stop which runs every 10 min or so Buy a 10 pack and tickets are $1.5 EU. There are so many food options near by such as the great S'impasta, and super markets are 7 min walk for those who want Italian food to bring back. As a diamond member we got free breakfast which was as good as anywhere in Florence. The bar and restaurant were perfect also. We stayed 5 nights and they had a 3 washing machines to use. No dryer, and tide pods available for $7 EU at desk (BYO). Request a balcony and you can use that to dry your clothes. Huge shout out to Jessica (front desk) and Nickoli (bar tender) who were very nice and kind the entire trip. For a Hilton Garden Inn this is a step above most US HGI hotels.

Great location, underground parking at hotel. You can buy the tram/train tickets to the city center and around at the front desk. Rooms are clean, sunny and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and good. We enjoy the fact that we can bring our dog with us. There’s a big park right across from the hotel. Also, a small shopping center, places to eat within walking distance from the hotel. Safe area and near the university

Saw a lot of negative reviews about the park across the street. Whatever used to go on there is NOT there anymore. The property is in great shape, the rooms more spacious than I expected, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the bar and dining were superb. I travel often and was extraordinarily happy with our stay there. Definitely would stay here again. Tram runs direct from the airport to a short walk to the hotel and it gave us access to the Old City for museums and sights. Super easy base of operations for our sightseeing and travel.
