Hilton Garden Inn Glasgow City Centre

Good rooms Excellent pillows Bathroom was a little messy when I arrived, however reception staff were very keen to get things right for me. Breakfast range is decent. range of hot and cold foods. I have been to places were tge variety is deeper.

It’s a lovely hotel overlooking the river Clyde, staff is super friendly and breakfast was good, especially the haggis!! Beds are nice and comfortable and everything was very clean when we got here. Only loses a star over the noise coming from other rooms as soundproofing could definitely be improved. I will happily be back (with better earplugs…) if in Glasgow again.

Staff: from the 1am nightshift staff (when we checked in 10 July) to breakfast staff and checkout: everyone was super. Excellent in fact. Room: unfortunately The room was dated (level 3) but had new beds, which were absolutely solid. Like wooden board level solid. I asked if the hotel had a mattress topper, unfortunately they did not but the fabulous housekeeping, stripped the bed and put a duvet cover on top of the mattress, to try and soften it a bit. What I did notice, is that there was no mattress protector and after checking the pillows, also no pillow protector. Breakfast: buffet with a good Vegan option. Oat milk also available Location: calling the location „city centre“ is a bit of a stretch. A 10 minute walk to the train station and then 1-2 stops gets you to the actual city centre. But an excellent location for the concert venue.
