Hilton Garden Inn Jakarta Taman Palem

As a Hilton Diamond member, I’m very familiar with the Hilton brand and its different tiers, including the Garden Inn, which is positioned as a mid-tier offering. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of this property. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The housekeeping staff was attentive and clearly took pride in keeping everything spotless. The breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations, offering a wide variety of local and international options—far more than I’ve seen at other Garden Inn locations. Mr. Yanggi, one of the lead staff members, consistently checked in with us to ensure we were satisfied. He even went out of his way to prepare my sons’ favorite pasta and cheese bread—something we truly appreciated. The hotel is conveniently located in West Jakarta and directly connected to a mall, making it ideal for families. Within the mall, there are restaurants, coffee shops, and a supermarket—all of which made our extended stay even more convenient. Over the course of two months, we never felt unsafe. The staff and security team did a great job making us feel comfortable and secure. A couple of suggestions for improvement: I hope the hotel considers offering complimentary room upgrades for Diamond members, as this is standard at most other Hilton locations. Also, the gym is quite small—only comfortable for one or two people at a time—and it tends to get very hot in the morning. Overall, this is a solid Hilton Garden Inn with exceptional service, great location, and strong attention to cleanliness and hospitality.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Taman Palem in Jakarta and had an overall very pleasant experience. The hotel offers clean, modern rooms with all the expected comforts of a Hilton brand—comfortable beds, good amenities, and efficient air conditioning (which is essential in Jakarta’s heat). The location is convenient, especially for those with business or transit needs in West Jakarta, and the attached shopping mall adds extra convenience for dining and essentials. Staff were professional and courteous —everyone from reception to housekeeping was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and the hotel maintains good security and hygiene standards.

So I stayed here for 5 nights with my family mainly due to to the location being close to my extended family. It is very close to the airport although getting on and off the toll road is arduous. It's connected to a pretty small mall with the grocery store and Starbucks the most convenient shops. Around the corner is some late night street food, slow and quite average. Down the road are some small restaurants, massage, chemists etc. Quite useful and affordable. The hotel itself is stock standard but being relatively new it's clean and easy to use. Beds were good, air-conditioning is strong and you don't feel cramped. The shower hose with the holder was disappointing. Plenty hot water though. Bring your own body scrubber. Did the breakfast a couple of times, decent variety but not top quality offerings. The coffee machine needs a clean and better beans. Pretty much undrinkable. For 130,000rp though you can really fill up. 2 out of the four machines in the washing clothes room were inoperable for our whole stay. The soap dispenser for the machines was disgusting and should be cleaned regularly. There is a small gym, it's okay but warms up fast so go really early. All in all a solid offering that could be better with a little extra effort on maintenance. It's definitely the best hotel option in the area.
