Excellent location, easy parking for smaller vehicles (under 1.9m) but had a few creative options for larger vehicles. Breakfast was great and not crowded at 0700 on Sunday. Kids corner was great addition for us too. Rooms clean. Reception very friendly.
Nice hotel and conveniently located from the centre. However we had a few issues with our room- no lights in the bathroom and TV not working well. We reported these issues twice and they were not resolved. We mentioned on departure also with not even an apology made for the inconvenience. Poor customer service from such a reputable hotel chain.
This Hilton Garden Inn is more for business travelers than families or people who want to stay for leisure. The first impression of the hotel is not too bad. The entrance is clean, the receiptionist are friendly and the rooms are spacious. In general noting to complain. However, I am giving the 2-star-review based on the overall impression of this hotel, the service and the price. The price tag for this hotel was quite high in my opionion. I paid around 140€ per night for staying in this hotel excluding the breakfast. The breakfast itself costs 22 Euros and is expensive for what you get. The buffet is enough so that every person should find something to eat - but still not that big that it justifies the price of 22 Euro per day. In my opinion the service during breakfast is also something the hotel really needs to work on. During the busy hours the service personnel had no chance to catch up with the tasks, there were not enough glasses, not enoug juice and especially too many tables that were not taken care of (dirty dishes, etc.). After the check-out the service is practically not available. The hotel took the wrong invoice address and after several inquiries (via E-Mail and Phone) nobody handled this issue. Therefore, I was not able to provide my company with a sufficient invoice. A task that should have taken the receptionist or somebody else less than 10 minutes was not handled at all! The service does not stop when the guest leaves the door!
