Hilton Garden Inn Munich Messe

We spent five nights here and really enjoyed our stay from the very start. The rooms are bright, spacious, and instantly make you feel comfortable. The entire hotel still has that fresh, new vibe, and the fitness room is equipped with everything you need to stay on track. Downstairs, the coworking spaces have a fantastic atmosphere – the kind of place where you actually enjoy getting work done. Breakfast is excellent and even offers a bit of variety from day to day. We were also really impressed by the pricing and quality at dinner – for Munich, the value was more than fair, which was a huge positive surprise. The location is a little further out and quieter, which we actually loved, and the view over the fields across the street even gave off a tiny hint of vacation vibes. We’ll definitely be coming back, though it’s worth mentioning that the handling at the reception could be a bit smoother on one or two things. Other than that, this was a great stay.

I was disappointed to find hair and stains on the bed upon arrival. Additionally, there was no fridge in the room and no assistance available for carrying bags to the room. I genuinely don’t understand how this hotel is rated 4 stars — it felt more like a 3-star experience at best. The only good thing it is good place to stay in order to catch your flight in Munich airport.

Over a week ago we notified the hotel we wanted to change hotels. PLENTY of advance notice and they wouldn’t allow us to do it. Additionally, our travel agent booked an additional day that we wanted to cancel. They wouldn’t cancel that day either. They have held us hostage and taken our money. My strong advice is to book somewhere else. The ownership here is void of ethics. When we arrived at 3:30 PM, our rooms weren’t ready either. This place is absolutely the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. No refrigerator. No included breakfast. No microwave and it’s located in the absolute middle of nowhere.
