We stayed here overnight for the second time in 2 years with my two kids. Please always keep in mind that it is indeed a Hilton Inn and not the hire tier of Hilton’s and when you do - you realize that it’s definitely above average especially by North American standards. The accommodations are slightly dated but well maintained. We were in the suite with a very big and comfortable pull out couch and a king bed. The bath was wonderful with a bathtub. There’s a little shop as per usual on the first floor if you forgot any of your necessities or looking for a snack. The restaurant was good, nothing above and beyond and again I’d say great as far as Hilton Inns go. Prices are a little steep for what you get but we didn’t stay in Rome this year to compare - we were in the south where prices are much lower. The breakfast buffet was satisfactory - scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, waffles, yogurts and fruits and many pastries - you won’t go hungry. There is also a morning coffee station. You have the option of sitting outside if you want to catch some morning sun before your flight. The service was above average for what I expect in Italy. Everyone was kind and helpful when asked. Do not expect service staff to check on you frequently (and maybe at all) as it’s not the norm. The shuttle is a wonderful quick service. We waited longer on the evening before at the airport than the allotted 15 minutes (maybe about 25) but the morning was like clockwork arriving every 15 minutes on the hour. If you’re looking for a convenient no frills stay just to catch some shut eye before your journey - highly recommend.
Great employees. Very helpful. The restaurant staff, even more so. Christian was amazing. The food was wonderful. The shuttle was punctual and a great resource. The room was in great shape. Very glad we stayed there before a very long travel day that started early in the morning.
This hotel is quite convenient for airport access, and the rooms are spacious and clean. The reception staff were generally kind and polite, with the exception of one woman who seemed a bit unfriendly. My children went to the reception to retrieve our bags that we had left in the morning, as we had arrived early. When I arrived a minute later and began to speak, she interrupted me, pointed, and said something about my bag being over there. I then stated that I needed to pick up my key, as I had not yet received it. Her demeanor was not particularly welcoming. The bed was not very comfortable, being too soft and lacking proper support for my hip, although the pillows were quite nice. The bathroom seemed clean, and the shower provided excellent water pressure. However, the floor drain in the bathtub was draining quite slowly, even after the cover had been removed. The breakfast was reasonably priced, though the selection was somewhat limited and the taste was just adequate. However, there were plenty of fresh fruit options. The staff were efficient in clearing tables and assisting guests. The check-out process was rather disorganized, as the line was combined with the check-in line, creating a bit of a chaotic situation. I waited for over fifteen minutes alongside those paying for snacks and checking in. Fortunately, one gentleman offered a solution, allowing us to simply hand over the key for check-out. Overall, this hotel is quite pleasant, but it could benefit from some improvements in its management.
