Hilton Garden Inn Seoul Gangnam

My family and I were there for an 11 day stay just a couple of weeks ago. Being diamond members, we've stayed at many Hilton properties, but I have to say hands down this was the best experience I've ever had at any property period. This Hilton Garden Inn is nothing like the ones in the US. It vastly exceeded my expectations. When we arrived in Seoul, I couldn't use the app to check in like we can in the US, but using the chat feature in the app, I was able to not only check in, but has both of my rooms upgraded which I understand is not not a common thing internationally. Both rooms we had were impeccably clean and in excellent condition. Housekeeping was also incredible. The hotel itself overall was also very nice. They even had a coin laundry room for guests which we did have to use due to the length of our stay. Although I didn't swim, the rooftop pool looked amazing and the restaurant was great. I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Although the menu was for the most part the same everyday, there was more than enough selection that it didn't become boring to eat there. I really enjoyed the mix of western and Korean food. So good. The best part of my stay though was the extremely personable service we received throughout our entire stay. First, I have to give a shout out to my man Jamie at the front desk. He is truly an all star and really made our stay exceptional. The level of hospitality he provided really was second to none. Daniel, also at the front desk, was excellent as well. These two gentlemen really made all the difference. I can't say enough about how amazing they made our time there. Other staff members that really shined were Evelyn, Sofia, and Joy in the cafe/bar. They were so friendly and helped make our stay that much more memorable. I just can't say how incredible our entire stay was. I wish Hilton properties in the US could be half as good as this place was. If you are visiting Seoul, I highly recommend staying at this property. You will not be disappointed. Thank you again to all of the staff for such a great stay!

While experiences can vary, my recent stay at this Hilton location was overwhelmingly positive. My flight arrived very early, and my request for an early check-in was well beyond typical industry standards. However, Sarah, the front desk receptionist, went above and beyond to find us a room for a super early morning check-in. To my delight, we also received an upgrade, which is a rare occurrence for me, even as a Diamond member (though I'm currently a Gold member, making it even more surprising!). The upgraded room was spacious, and the housekeeping staff was courteous. The complimentary breakfast was good, though the menu was nearly identical throughout my five-day stay. A major highlight was the rooftop pool. It was virtually empty on weeknights, making it feel like I had the entire pool to myself during my stay. Finally, you simply can't beat the location. While not directly in the heart of Gangnam, it offers easy access to all of Seoul via the nearest train or bus stations. I highly recommend this Hilton!
