Hilton Garden Inn Volgograd

Good new hotel with big and clean rooms. The staff is friendly and will help you on any issues you have during your stay. There is a restaurant and a bar inside. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed during my stay but the bar works with the restaurant menu so it wasn’t a big issue for me. The location of the hotel is nice, 20 minutes walk from the Mamayev kurgan, 3 minutes walk for the tram station to go to the city center.

Wonderful location. Beautiful and sexy receptionists. Ha ha ha. Only complain is about the restaurant. Can you believe that the food was served almost three (03) hours after we placed the order!!! Risotto - if you cal it , was not at its best, not even up to any standard. Unfortunately, the chef continued to argue and defend his poor culinary skill. One reason, that may discourage myself to stay in this hotel anymore, is surely the standard of food served in the restaurant including the free (?) breakfast.

Great location and a new facility but a horrible customer experience. only 1 person per shift spoke very basis English, they hung the phone on me numerous times when i called room service and i found my toilet was used when I first walked into it. Breakfast was a joke. The room service menu was poor in terms of variety and half the items on tbe menu weren't available for the duration of my stay- how can a Hilton not have mozzarella for 3 days! This experience was appalling to say the least!
