Honestly such a great hotel for the price. The buffet breakfast was so tasty and fresh and the staff's service was amazing, they always had heaps of people ready to assist. The gym is FANTASTIC and they even have a washing/dryer room for 10 euros. The rooms aren't overly soundproof but they are large and very comfy. The location isn't super central either but it's an easy walk to the tram line and very cheap to get into town. We loved this hotel and would come back anytime we visit Zagreb!
We reserved 2 rooms and they gave us the rooms in different floors When we check in, they asked each of the guest to sign for the info which i have never signed for this in other hotels The fridge is not working at all, the fridge light kept blinking and had not cooling Daily parking costs 20 euros, facilities are quite good, only the staff worked super slow which used about 15 minutes for the check-in process. Most of the staffs are the trainees and the manager is not polite. However, the room is clean and spacious, cant find a brand hotel is this price thats why we booked here
WE WILL NEVER COME BACK We booked a night at the Hilton Garden Inn in Zagreb on our way to Postira, Croatia, for our summer holidays. We made the reservation from Switzerland thinking we’d pass through Zagreb, but only 20 minutes later we realized our route didn’t go through the city. We tried to cancel the booking immediately, as driving 150 km out of the way just to sleep there made no sense — and then another 150 km back the next day. The woman we spoke to on the phone was extremely rude and didn’t care about our situation at all. She kept repeating the hotel’s policy and told us to contact Booking.com since we booked through them. The agent at Booking.com actually understood our situation and even contacted the hotel on our behalf to request a cancellation. The hotel asked for written confirmation from Booking.com, which they provided — but still, the hotel refused to cancel our stay. So we had no choice but to drive the extra 150 km to get to the hotel. And when we finally arrived, they informed us that we couldn’t even stay in the same room as a family — we are a couple with two kids, and they had no connecting family rooms available. Still, they refused to cancel the reservation, even though they didn’t meet the conditions we needed for our stay. This was our third time staying at this hotel — we often travel from Switzerland to Croatia, Albania, and Greece during summer, and we used to stop here for one night. But never again. 👎
