Hilton Hangzhou Qiandao Lake Resort

Absolutely the best Hilton I've ever stayed at. As a Hilton Honors Gold member, I was offered complimentary upgrade to a lake-view room, free mini-bar beverages, welcome fruits and free breakfast for two. The room was modern, spacious and clean. The location is away from the city buzz while offering convenient access to most leisure activities (e.g. there's a boat dock offering various tours in the back of the hotel). The breakfast is great too, with so many tasty food options. Staff is friendly and helpful too. I highly recommend this Hilton to anyone visiting Thousand Island Lake.

Nice hotel, comfortable room, great view. Breakfast is ok, not fantastic. One major set back: avoid the spa. The massage table is unbreathable and stinks like mildew. We had to stop the massage as it was giving us a terrible headache.

There are some basic service issues with this hotel and the Outside BBQ facility was filthy. Room was spectacular, but despite numerous tries I couldn't get bottled water or the room service and yes it all was communicated in Chinese. Also the room was not ready when we arrived.
