Loved the valet/front door staff. Loved our server for lunch. Loved the venue for a conference. Loved the layout of the room. Loved the lobby space. Loved the easy to read map monitor in hallways. Really would have liked more closer by restaurants/coffee shops/sundry shops....but the hotel was great. Took a little walk to the river for a break and that was lovely.

This hotel always takes care of its guests. The front desk staff have only ever been friendly and helpful! The rooms are clean, cozy, and spacious. The food is always tasty, and the access to Strawberry Square and the Capitol are easy and intuitive. If you are ever staying in the Harrisburg area, then make this one of your stops!

I stayed recently for a work trip, and it was fine. The staff were very kind anytime I had a question. The room was clean, and the blackout curtains were fantastic. I loved that I could run the fan all night for air circulation and white noise while it maintained the set temperature (rather than getting colder.) The sheets were pretty scratchy for a higher end hotel, so I was grateful I had a soft blanket with me. The only drawback is that the hotel is less than ideal for someone who doesn’t like elevators. Not a deal breaker, but worth considering if you’re not an elevator person. They’re essentially unavoidable in the attached parking garage. You can take the stairs to the ground floor and follow the street to the front entrance, but walking the alley at night doesn’t feel particularly safe. Taking the stairs inside requires walking through employee corridors and up a stairwell that is intended for employees and emergencies. It works out fine, and employees smiled and greeted me anytime they saw me passing through, but it’s a bit awkward. (That said - I totally understand why the hotel is structured this way. It’s all about guest safety.)
