Hilton Helsinki Strand

I stayed here for a 3-nights stay with my boyfriend and we both agree on being totally satisfied by this hotel. All staff members we had the chance to spoke to were nice, polite and professional. Our room had an amazing view and was comfy and big, the spa and pool were a great way to spend our afternoon while it was raining outside. One more positive note: we tried the Menu Bro at the restaurant our first night and it was delicious. Food was high-quality, with an amazing presentation, reindeer meat was tasty but also delicate. Thanks to Waldo who helped me find a wine-pairing that followed my needs, as I don't drink any red wine. An amazing stay, I highly recommend this hotel and we will def come back here in case we will ever return to Helsinki :)

Very dated hotel along the riverside area but surrounded by construction so it really impacts the view. The rooms were clean and spacious but the swimming pool is much smaller and shallower than pictured. We didn't avail of the sauna so can't comment on that. Breakfast was food - variety of hash browns, pastries, eggs, bratwurst, porridge etc. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again as I feel there are better hotels in Helsinki for a similar price point which would definitely be situated better and more modern than this Hilton branch

We booked a sea view room. The room were allocated did not have a sea view. At best it could be described as a partial sea view. There are rooms with a decent view of the Baltic, but there are also rooms which they charge just as much for which do not have a decent view. This is very misleading. I would expect more honesty.
