Unforgettable Birthday Weekend – Incredible Staff and Service! I had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Houston Plaza/Medical Center from May 9–12 2025 to celebrate my birthday, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I made my reservation, Kevin, the Sales Manager, was incredibly helpful in arranging special accommodations and ensuring everything was set up to make my weekend extra memorable. Upon arrival, the front desk staff welcomed me warmly and continued to provide outstanding service throughout my stay. They checked in on me during my visit, promptly moved me to a new room when I mentioned a mildew smell, replaced my room key each time I locked myself out, and even located a package that had been delivered to the hotel. Every staff member I interacted with was kind, professional, and attentive—including the gentleman monitoring breakfast each morning, who was so friendly and courteous. But I especially want to recognize Darby. She was an absolute gem! Darby went above and beyond to accommodate me, ensured all my needs were met, and made everything happen with grace and excellence. Her level of customer service was unmatched, and I’m incredibly grateful for her kindness and professionalism. She truly made my birthday weekend unforgettable. Huge thanks to Kevin, Darby, and the entire Hilton Houston Plaza/Medical Center team for such a warm and memorable experience. I highly recommend this property and look forward to returning!

Lifetime diamond. Hotel has nice amenities like a rooftop pool and bar and the staff was very welcoming. It is also in a great location. I had an issue with the A/C the first night but the front desk manager Virginia was kind and upgraded me to one of the nicest rooms in the hotel. Employee’s like her are the reason of my 25+ years loyalty to Hilton. I'll be back soon and looking forward to the upcoming renovation.

VERY poor experience. Service was fine, just your typical hotel hospitality. Location is convenient. Beyond that, the hotel was incredibly lacking. Have fun waiting up to 10+ minutes any time you want to change floors due to there being one true elevator for this entire hotel. If you want to take the stairs you must take an additional 9 floors just to get to the rooms. Beware of random stairwell doors being locked with no access back to the rooms, too. Courtyard? Forget about it, it’s under construction and you are confined to the inside like an asylum. The rooms are incredibly humid. There is no fresh purified water and the water dispenser in the gym does not work. Avoid a big car in the parking deck. And generally avoid this property as a whole.
