The parking is ridiculous. It was pretty hot outside and our 18th floor room a/c couldn't keep up. Other than that the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The location is perfect for downtown adventures. If you are looking for a nice meal, Salt on Mass was amazing!
Not typically one to comment on services/hospitality but I feel inclined to share my experience with others who may be looking to book here. When I arrived for my one night stay, my room was 77 degrees. I thought no big deal, I'll just turn the AC on, head back out, and give it some time to cool down. When I entered back into the room 3 hours later, it was even warmer. I called the front desk to let them know it was broken (and pretty miserable) and the lady who answered the phone was extremely rude and dismissive. She sent a fan up into the room, and offered to have someone come the next day to look at it, even though I told her I was only there for one night. Several other rooms were available and I would hope for the courtesy of offering at least that. The fan only circulated the heat and I hardly slept. In the morning I went to the front desk to check out, and told them about the situation. He offered me something from the gift shop?? I almost thought he was joking. Bottom line- there are plenty of other hotels nearby with much better customer service and all around experience. Will not be returning and and wish the situation would've been handled appropriately.
The rooms are spacious but that’s the only positive. Be prepared to sweat. It will not get cooler than 73 and we heard multiple guest complaining about this so it wasn’t just us. Not only warm in the rooms but warm everywhere. And when anyone around you takes a shower it sounds like a machine gun or construction. It’s crazy for a hotel this expensive. Too many choices downtown! Save your money! We actually left early because we couldn’t take the heat. What hotel this expensive has a room that is so warm that you can’t sleep at night?? So disappointed.
