Like 1. The breakfast is terrific; there are many varieties of food. It is fulfilling. 2. The room is cleaned thoroughly, and it is spotless. 3. The view is spectacular. We are living on the top floor, and it overlooks the ocean. I lovein it. 4. The facilities are excellent, there is a bowling court near the hotel, and we have a great experience. 5. Staff are exceptional; when there is a better room, they tell us that we can upgrade our room. Amiable and brilliant service. Disliked 1. The air conditioner cannot be controlled. So, the room is pretty hot and we tried to turn on the air conditioner. However, the staff told us that because it is winter, there is only heater but no air conditioner. Fortunately, they brought a powerful fan and we can sleep with ease.

The staff is awesome, friendly and attentive and all English-speaking. The food was great. Hoping they are able to open the breakfast buffet again soon because it was delicious last time I stayed here. Housekeeping staff is very friendly. Centrally located near restaurants, shopping and bar. Views of and steps to the water (however, it is not the beach where you can lay out. It is the bay. But still beautiful). Recommend staying here to enjoy Izmir.

The hotel is close to everything which is its main advantage - especially with closeness to the airport shuttle/bus. Rooms are clean and of good quality but it is very visible that the hotel was built quite a long time ago - they are kinda old-fashioned. Staff is extremely helpful (and knows English very well, however their directions to antique sites were out-of-date and cost us some additional time). I recommend getting room on a high floor - the view is astonishing. However, I was very surprised at the check-in that I was required to put deposit equivalent to 50 euro per night (which was refunded after 2 weeks of check-out which I also think is too long), which usually is common among budget hostels, not 5-star hotels.
