Hilton Kyoto

LOVED this hotel. Fantastic location, within walking distance to practically every thing to see or places to go, shopping, food, etc. Strong value-performance ratio. This new hotel`s interiors are gorgeous, with typically modern but very warm and comfortable Japanese design. We loved the gym, the terrace, the lobby design and the beautiful rooms which had us wanting to stay longer just to revel in the executive lounge and in our room and hotel. Breakfast was fantastic; great selection (especially if you like Asian/Japanese selection - although Western selection was also great). The overall setting, comfortable arrangements and both authentically friendly and efficient staff made mornings a nourishing start to what is always a great day with the new Hilton Kyoto. We are coming back!

We stayed here for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely fantastic. The architecture and comfort of the rooms were exceptional. The bed and pillows were some of the best I’ve ever experienced. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. They made us feel incredibly special and celebrated. Every interaction we had with the staff was great. The location is perfect and easily walkable, which made exploring Kyoto effortless. For those staying on the executive level, the breakfast and complimentary drinks were outstanding. The entire hotel feels like a true five-star experience. We were sad to leave and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Kyoto, especially for a special occasion.

A hotel with a good location. Nice Japanese interior. Room is clean. I had a room with club access, in reality it’s useless cause you have to wait until the table free. Advice: you have to organize the capacity of the lounge as many as you sell the room with club lounge access, to accommodate all your customer at the same time. Check the food regularly, so your customers didn’t see the empty plates. Breakfast is also too crowded for a 5 star hotel you mention. Advice: make a space for vegan/vegetarian/halal food to accommodate different customers.
