Hilton Leeds City Hotel

Very polite and friendly staff- they made us feel very welcome. Location is perfect- only a 5 minute walk from Leeds train station and walking distance from shops/bars and restaurants. Room was clean and quiet- for the cheapest room, a little small but had everything we needed for our one night stay. Bathroom was very nice and modern. I would definitely stay again!

Stayed here on the night before graduation. Really lovely members of staff. Charlie stood out, checked me in, and made sure that we were happy with everything in the room. Very approachable, friendly and professional - clearly wants to ensure guests are happy and settled. Lovely hotel.

PROS Decent location, handy for train station. Breakfast selection very good. Chef out in restaurant asking guests if everything was ok or needed anything…….lovely touch Charlie at reception was lovely and attentive CONS One receptionist rude at check in. She may check in guests every day and know the check in process but guests don’t, please be more respectful Food menu quite limited, order arrived and wasn’t correct. So decided to eat out after that. Bar staff didn’t appear to know where drinks were placed behind the bar. Also appeared unsure how to use the tills Please note guests don’t want their drinks watered down due to the glass being filled to the top with ice. Less ice please Housekeeping sloppy (room not refreshed very well) eg one bed made the other wasn’t Only one lift working, inconvenient for a very busy hotel
