Hilton London Wembley

I stayed overnight and was a delegate at a conference. This is a fantastic location right on the doorstep of Wembley stadium with loads of places to eat nearby, as well as convenience stores. And a short, easy and safe feeling walk from the train station. The hotel and conference team are fantastic. Genuinely friendly. Great check in where i felt really engaged with. And as we checked out we were asked 'did you have a good day at the conference?' The conference food and service was fantastic. The rooms were spacious and air conditioned, with good sound, light and digital screens. The Sky Bar is a really lovely bar on the 9th floor to get a drink with a view - there's an outdoor terrace for warmer days/evenings. The bed was spacious and comfortable as you would expect from the Hilton. The only minus was the shower, which wasn't very powerful and was one of those over bath showers. It just didn't seem in keeping with the rest of the room. Extra points for a plug socket next to a mirror so I could use the hairdryer - so many hotels get this wrong! If i could have taken off half a star instead of one I would because overall this is an excellent hotel.

Hotel was great, clean, even gave us a toothpaste kit ! The only slight issue I had was with breakfast, I told them I was vegan and the chef seemed a little confused and was recommending me the halal chicken sausages and scrambled egg. The breakfast style buffet was all labelled so I was fine with figuring out what I could eat or not but as a chef, they really should be aware of the difference between vegetarian, vegan and halal friendly! Other than that the breakfast was really nice, the rooftop bar is a must alongside the lovely pool!

Great hotel and lovely staff. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. However, it was very pricey. I did expect more in the room - there were no robes, no shower cap or bathroom kits & only 2 milk sachets in the room. It was very basic for the price.
