Pros: I greatly enjoy my stay at this hotel for the awesome shuttle service, politeness of the front desk staff, the cleanliness of the hallways leading to the rooms, and the rooms themselves, I've traveled alone and with my partner and have always felt safe at this hotel. Cons: The smaller restaurant/ convience store near the front is pricey. I paid $5+ dollars for a bag of regular size chips. Inflation is real, but that was ridiculous! Had a large cup of soup with a roll for $10+, which I really enjoyed and the price was worth it! ** I have yet to explore the pool or gym area, but overall I will continue to choose this Hilton hotel for all my stays when traveling to the LA. area.
Room was nice. Hotel clean. Pool area nice. Breakfast could be better. No world food options. Extremely limited gluten free options. The cafe in the lobby was very nice, they did good pizza. We had our water turned off for 1 afternoon due to emergency maintenance works but the hotel offered a different room which was good. Our room had a good view of the runway at LAX.
My husband and I stayed here twice within two weeks going to and from another destination via LAX. The photos of the lobby are true to our experience, it looks very nice when you walk inside! The employees were nice enough. The shuttle too and from the airport was convenient but crowded all four times we used it. The rooms themselves were very outdated which surprised us due to how nice and updated the lobby is. In both rooms we stayed in, the bathroom looked very old and grimy. Of course since it’s essentially on the airport property, you do hear planes and it can be loud. When we left our room this morning at 7:30am, housekeeping was already coming around which felt a little early to me. Room service was pretty quick when we ordered it! Additionally, there is apparently nowhere in the hotel to refill a reusable water bottle - my husband specifically called the front desk after wandering around looking and was told that not only was there nowhere to refill water bottles, there were also no vending machines to even buy one, AND they apparently used to supply free water bottles but no longer do. In this day and age, that’s really surprising. They did agree to send up two water bottles to us anyway, which was nice of them to do. Their first upgrade should be to add at least one water fountain to fill up water! Being there for 12 hours or less each stay, it was tolerable for somewhere to crash between flights but unless you were staying there for that purpose, I’d recommend staying elsewhere.
