Hilton Norfolk The Main

We walked around this place looking for a restaurant since everything at waterside was closed. They had the most amazing artwork and architecture. Bathrooms were clean and the place was beautiful. This is a great place just to walk around and check out. We went to the green which was very busy and slow service was mefa slow but we enjoyed our time there with the fire pit, food and DJ. We managed to find a table near the bar. Everything was see yourself which is a cool idea for a late night even drink. We arrived around 815pm on Saturday. The food is reasonably priced but they charged to sample a cider before I bought one which I thought was silly since we waited so long just to get a drink or even ice water. They gave a great beer selection and interesting menu. They have a beautiful view of the skyline and you're able to see the sunset if you get there on time. Must walk and see all art work.

We stayed here last Christmas for 2 days and had a wonderful experience. Our room had a beautiful view overlooking the harbor and the Water District — it was the perfect setting for a couple’s getaway. The atmosphere was peaceful, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back!

This is about a 2 star hotel. The positives are: Location, view, and good on-site food. The cons are: All rooms need a refresh. Carpet is moist and loose, lamp didn’t work, in room phone wouldn’t call, door would only shut when I put my shoulder to it, headboard finish was in poor shape, and something woke me up at 2am in my room, made the blind move and I heard it scurry thru the air vent when I was trying to turn on a light. Y’all need to do better. Headboard in tatters pic attached. This view is great, but I don’t want to stay here again and am embarrassed to put a work group here now.
