I have to post a positive review because I almost let negative reviews keep me from a nice experience at this lovely hotel. When we checked in, everything was beautiful and checkin went smoothly. The room did not smell good and the air conditioning was not working well so they gave us a different room which was better. There is a nice walkway along the river which we enjoyed and then had dinner in the restaurant outside seating. The calamari was scrumptious. We swam in the warm pool and got a little exercise in. The views are amazing all around the building. The staff was responsive when there was no hot water in the morning and that was soon fixed. Everyone was pleasant and we will be back!
My husband and I stay here every year to attend a concert across the river. We love the location and everything there is to do right outside the hotel doors. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfy. My only complaint is the air conditioning in the rooms are not cool enough in the summer. We will definitely be back next summer!
Good location and lovely staff helps to make up for a fairly rundown property. The staff here deserves a 10/5, especially the young women who were checking folks in and the female night auditor. The service they gave was nothing short of impeccable and what I expect from a Hilton property. The location was fine, the $55!per day to park in the large parking structure was criminal. The on-site coffee shop was cheap and good. My major issues came with the rooms. We stayed in an 8th floor room and for the entirety of the stay the room was very hot and the air con barely made a difference. The elevators were very slow. The toilet made a very loud noise intermittently. The room was clean on first glance but the carpets were very dirty, the shower curtain had mold and no one serviced our rooms during our three night stay even after we asked a housekeeping staff member. We resorted to taking clean bath towels from the pool since no one replaced ours. The pool facility was really nice but on the third day the whole area smelled terrible. We also saw a child urinate into a potted plant. I wouldn’t stay here again but the front desk staff was really really helpful and awesome.
