Clean, quiet, had all we needed, including a restaurant downstairs with terrific food. Just right for 1 night. Friendly staff happy to help. Easy parking.
Good location. Staff is friendly. Clean rooms and nice facilities in the hotel. The room was nice except for my room's TV was constantly broken. It had a bad connection and there was a cord hanging from the TV. They fixed it twice, and it worked for only a few hours after being fixed as long as you didn't turn it off and try to turn it back on again. It would not had been a big deal, but I was there for six nights. I would have been nice to be able to watch TV in the evenings after my 12 hour days. I mentioned it to them several times. Hopefully they fixed it before the next person came. The air conditioner was broken when I arrived. They fixed it when they can to fix the TV. Maybe they should check things in the room before new guests arrive. It was also missing the water for Hilton Honors silver and above status. They brought some up to me when I called.
My first not so good experience. The pillows had black marks on them, no trash bags in the bins, and the remote control was so dirty. Cleaned with Lysol wipes. Then the issue came with the shower, which wasn’t draining. I had to stick my fingers in the drain to try and fix it. On 6/16, maintenance was fixing something across my room in the ice machine room, making really loud noises for several hours. Lastly, the AC was on at 68 and still didn’t feel cool. Turns out the AC was randomly blowing warm and cool air. A bad experience but wasn’t a big deal for 2 days. I just can’t believe this happened at a Hilton. I recommend the Curio Porter hotel just a few blocks away. Front desk was very friendly.
