This was a great hotel and perfect for my first stay in Quebec city. Comfortable and quiet rooms, and I had a great view of the Quebec parliament (which looks like a castle!). Location was amazing, maybe 10-15 minute walk to Old Quebec and even quicker to the Citadel and Plains of Abraham. I used the remote check in option, which was so convenient and allows you to skip the registration line. Only downside is that you don't interact with the staff, who when I had a question about parking were great and gave me some unprompted tips for visiting. All in all, nice hotel, great location. I'll be back.

Stayed there for 4 nights with family of 5. We stayed there for three times. Stay was good and comfortable. Cleaning staff only knew French and it was very hard to communicate with them if you don’t know French. Courtesy level went down over the years and room rates went up. We spent more than $2k but imagine there was not even single water bottle in the room at check in. Even at check out, we saw few guests were given water bottles and when we asked for single small bottle, imagine the answer the person at counter gave “they were valued Hilton Honours members and only they will get water bottles.” Even the hotel management don’t want to spend even quarter of a dollar on guests who spends thousand of dollars. Asking $15 plus tax per day for microwave is also unjustified if hotel is already charging high end prices. Bathroom door’s lock was also not working and it took quite a while to fix that and we had to go in the lobby’s bathroom downstairs. Asked a question on hotel’s text message service and the answer never came ( see photo). We as a family are quite disappointed on the Hilton’s management and their emerging policies. Our family wear head scarves/ hijab and question also arises whether the Hilton management’ policy of inclusiveness might have been changed when they declined to give small water bottle at check out. Small advice to Hilton Hotels management is that small small courtesies make big big positive impressions.

The view from our room on the 19th floor was epic! And the pool was decent. However, I expected more from a "premium suite" 750 sqft room that sleeps 5 people - no extra blankets, one tea option and literally only one tea bag, no mugs, lack of espresso pods, no diffuser for hairdryer, no dinnerware for the 6 seat dining room table. I was told room service was not available. The other person I stayed with got a little sick the first night so we stayed in. Ordered from the restaurant downstairs and brought the food up to the room. Hard to carry a few dishes, cutlery, glassware with two hands. Of course they forgot the bread for one dish so I had to go back down , wait for the bread, and back up again. By that time the other food was cold. Room service not available is ridiculous. I needed a diffuser attachment for the hairdryer. I asked three times for one. Finally had two brought up to the room, neither of them fit. For this caliber of room and what we paid, I expected more than just 750sqft of space. Also elevators are a disaster. The wait is ridiculous most times. Third day in, it poured rain all morning. I noticed three areas of the windows leaking. I called down twice to let them know. No one came to do anything about it. The rooms are not sound proof whatsoever. I heard noise every morning and night from upstairs. Saturday night I was woken at 2:30am by a party upstairs. Called the front desk - took an hour to stop. Bring ear plugs if you plan to stay there. Also no business centre. I had an urgent matter to deal with for work. There is no access to a computer there. The front desk was kind enough to print a few papers for me but if you need an actual computer to work on, you wont find that at this hotel.
