Hilton San Diego Bayfront

Great location and great staff experiences. Armando with Vacation Sales & Karin at the Concierge desk really helped us with our time at the hotel. The gentleman helping with the bicycle checkout was very friendly and offered tons of local knowledge. Excellent Housekeeping service as well, my only regret is that we were always out of the room and did not get a chance to personally thank this staff person, whose attention to detail is unmatched!

Great location. Walk to all sorts of wonderful, iconic parts of San Diego. Good bay views. But, the windows badly need to be cleaned. Very comfortable beds and everything in the room was exactly what you would expect from a large, executive type hotel. Of course the food, drinks, grocery, rental bikes, etc. has a jacked up price. Think airport prices...but that's what you get today in any big chain hotel. Front staff was kind and accomodating!

So I initially gave them a 5 star review, the staff are great, the rooms are nice and amenities are nice. But 2 days after my review I get a $512 charge from them. I call to ask what this was, and apparently you spending $2000 for rooms doesn't include pool and gym access on their property. $2000 for rooms doesn't include parking a vehicle in their parking lot. At this Hilton they will rob you. You don't even have to use the pool and gym at their location. You still have to pay additionally for it. You can not refuse. It's one thing if that was covered in the cost of the hotel but the fact it's a hidden fee that comes out days after you left is beyond reason. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HILTON. You have been warned. I'm telling this to every platform that allows me to speak so others can understand that San Diego Hilton will steal your money. And Hilton corporation does not care.
