I had a wonderful experience checking in at the Hilton Hotel Union Square, thanks to Juliette at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, she greeted me with a warm smile and genuine hospitality. Juliette was not only professional and efficient, but also kind, patient, and incredibly welcoming — she made me feel right at home. She went above and beyond to ensure my check-in was smooth and even offered helpful tips about the area. It's rare to come across someone who brings both warmth and excellence to their role the way Juliette does. She truly set the tone for a great stay. Thank you, Juliette, for making my arrival such a pleasant one!
Filthy room. Bathroom doors wouldn’t close. Dresser drawers broken. Just felt dirty. Close to to the tenderloin but might as well be in it. Uber if you’re going far. Staff friendly and cooperative. Breakfast buffet and balcony with a view only things preventing this from being a 2 star review.
We've stayed here every year for the past few years. I've tried to like this hotel but this is my last year staying here. They used to have valet parking. Not for the past three years. The bellman outside basically ignores us when we arrive. The front desk employees are not very friendly and god forbid you ask for a connecting room. We have yet to get one. The store/food shop is overpriced and underwhelming. We only go because the hotel extorts $35 per room per night from us and I'm going to get something for my money. Their staff is also unkind. The rooms in the past have been okay. This trip, they put us in tower one and it wasn't up to our standards. Dingy carpet, wall construction in the hallway. Lights didn't work in one room, the shade was broken in the other room. The bathtub wouldn't hold water. It was our last year of disappointment. Next year, we are opting for a different hotel that appreciates our business and provides a far better experience.
