Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa

My best friend's wedding was here which was awesome on the beach it was a great experience. The stay was well worth the large amount of money spent here. This place is right on the beach, two outdoor pools and an indoor pool. There is bars, restaurants, coffee shop, souvenir shop and it's close enough to town if you need to go get something. The party area for conventions or parties was nice and pretty, not a fan of the carpeting because it looked a little outdated, but everything else was elegant. The fitness center is not bad, plenty of treadmills and some weights. The rooms are good sized with a soft mattress, my room also had bunk beds with each having it's own little TV set up. The partial view was pretty good, I saw the beach from the balcony. My only complaint which is strictly my preference is I don't like the community soap bottles that are becoming a thing now. The breakfast buffet was not to bad and had good choices, my German family would have eaten there. The restaurant inside was good too, no complaints at all. The service was spot on, nice people all around they made the stay enjoyable. I would definitely come here again.

We typically stay in FT. Walton Beach, the quality of the Hilton branded properties has been disappointing lately. But I stayed here back in August of 2023 for a fishing trip. And decided to came back for a weekend trip in July of 2025. They were nice enough to upgrade my room, that was a bonus. The hotel is laid out nicely and many of the rooms offer a pool/beach view. The rooms were clean and they had plenty of room. Two queen beds, two bunk beds and a hide-a-bed couch. The accommodations are nice. Two pools and three ways to get to the beach. You can rent chairs and umbrellas. And they have a large bar in the middle. They have about anything you would want on site. Ice parlor, coffee shop and 3 restaurants. About my only complaint was the cost of the food. It was good and I have no complaints. But, I felt it was expensive. Some people might be willing to pay for convenience. We tend to travel around for breakfast and dinner to find local restaurants. To each their own. I will be going back to this Hilton property. They made us feel welcome and took care of us. The accommodations are excellent. The beach and location is great.

We are locals and like to try out different hotels and resorts and give reviews to help others out looking for a quiet spot to vacation. In room 234 the sliding door lock is broken so anyone can come in through the back. Big black water bugs in a couple places but that is expected in this type of climate. Food is way over priced and could be better. In room 228 the room smelled moldy when you first come in. 3 to 4 large dead roaches in the room (not water bugs). The room next to 228, the worker kept slamming the door at all hours of the day and night, why? did his parents not teach him about letting doors slam? Why is there no vending machine for stacks? You have one for drinks, but no snacks. Or maybe have a little store inside the hotel where you can purchase snack items. Make it a smart Kiosk that way you won’t have to pay for extra people to work the counter. Other than that we enjoy our stay for the night. The beaches are always gorgeous with the white sugar sand and clean.
