Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza

The location is the only real benefit of this hotel. The staff can be super nice (at our check-in for example), but absolutely not accommodating when the following morning I asked for one hour late check-out for one of our two rooms (sorry was the reply, but we reached the maximum limit of eight for the day). Ridiculous and, frankly, unheard. Anyhow, it was only for one night, so it didn’t ruin our Santa Fe experience.

Perfectly located. But the hotel needs to be updated, and its staff needs to be more attentive to guests. For a major hotel in a highly competitive area, the current management should look at other Hilton hotels as examples of how to run onel. Pet friendly? No. Customer friendly, no. I'm a loyal customer of Hilton, but I won't stay here again

I was so excited about coming to Santa Fe. My husband was attending a conference. If I had known more about the hotel, I would've stayed at home. This is a 2.5 star hotel. And that's being generous. It's dingy, dark, really, really rundown. Needs a total refurbishment. Rooms are clean and OK. Front desk staff is hit or miss. Anytime plastic furniture at the front of the hotel is locked up it's a sure indication I don't want to stay here. The pictures on the hotel website are very misleading. Pool furniture is falling apart. Breakfast buffet is completely unappetizing.Proximity to historic Santa Fe is great. But I would never, ever stay here again.
