From the moment we arrived at Hilton Sydney, we were treated to top-notch service and luxurious accommodations. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable. Our room was spacious, immaculate, and had a stunning view of the city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it hard to leave in the morning! The amenities at the hotel are outstanding – the fitness center is fully equipped, and the indoor pool is perfect for a relaxing swim. We also enjoyed a fantastic breakfast at the restaurant, with a wide variety of options to choose from, all fresh and delicious. The location is perfect – right in the heart of the city, with easy access to shopping, dining, and attractions. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Hilton Sydney for anyone looking for a luxury stay with excellent service, comfort, and convenience. Can’t wait to return!
I am a long time Hilton user but have never stayed at this one before. Booked King Executive Rooms via the Honours App. It took 35 minutes to check in. My boss and I standing like lemons the whole time as the desk clerk made multiple phone calls. My boss’s room was downgraded, no offer of a refund just a straight downgrade to a Deluxe twin and a mere shrug . Neither of us was provided with executive lounge access or any information about it. It was only on the evening of day two we managed to remedy this after some argument and showing our original booking confirmation. The air conditioning in my room made a terrible noise. Not the usual fan noise but a weird white noise like a toilet cistern refilling the whole time but from the ceiling. Thank goodness I brought ear plugs to sleep but it made the room hard to be in. The lifts took up to ten minutes to arrive at peak hour. The gym is excellent but on neither day were the towels refilled, just a sad empty rack by the entry. They charged us $1 on the bill for a phone call we never made and have so far ignored my enquiry as to why. Petty maybe, but after paying over $600 per night for a small, downgraded room and a slow check in I’d like my $1 back. To say I’ll never be back is an understatement. I wonder if I’ll ever use Hilton again after an average of 30 room nights a year from London to Dubai to Astana over the last few years.
I'm so confused by the excellent reviews about the customer service at this hotel. I booked a spa and stay package for my husband's birthday on the weekend and every single staff member we encountered could not have been more dismissive. I requested an upgrade on the room prior to our arrival and when I enquired about it on checking in, she just shrugged and said 'we're too full for that'. Then proceeded to ask if we really needed a bath because there were no rooms with one available. When I went to tap my card for security, I flagged that the wrong amount had been entered and the manager said not to worry about it, it would be corrected on check out. And it wasn't. Again on check out when I flagged that the price was incorrect, I was told the manager would fix it. Next thing I know I've been emailed a receipt for the incorrect amount (I'm talking $350, not $5) with a note saying 'we hope you enjoyed your stay'. We did not. Three days later and I'm still struggling to get anyone to return my calls and emails to sort the problem, I've just been told they're 'checking' the inconsistency, despite the fact that I have the confirmation email for the room with the correct price. It has put a complete dampener on our weekend away and the last thing I expected from a hotel of this supposed calibre. Spend your money at the Four Seasons, it was excellent in every regard.
