This hotel was built for the 1964 Olympics and has been very nicely renovated. The views from the hotel are spectacular. The rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable. And the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is a bit less expensive than others closer to main shopping and historic locations, but the trains are easy to use and very convenient.
Fantastic hotel. Now, full disclosure, I stayed here for a business trip so I didn't have to pay. That being said, the hotel itself was excellent. The breakfast buffet was enormous and diverse, with a wide selection to choose from. The room was clean and comfortable. And I love the toilets with the built-in butt wash; I need to get one for my home. I didn't check out the pool, but we warned you have to pay to use. The service staff was always friendly and courteous. Not all speak English, but they will find a way to help you. The metro is connected to the hotel, so you get easy access to get around. Also, it's sheltered all the way, so even if it's raining you can reach it. I took the metro all the time while I was there, even from and to the airport. I will gladly return here, even paying on my own. I already told my wife I want to come back in two years.
Dear Hilton Odaiba … greetings I am writing this review to express my thanks to the great efforts made to keep a well managed high standard at the hotel. The hotel misses one very important aspect which is related to communication as clearly evident at the lobby about 40% of the hotel guests are international and it’s very difficult to communicate with the staff even at the front desk in English as almost non of them speaks it. They had me waiting on multiple occasions for 20-30 minutes to acquire a person who speaks English which is not helpful nor convenient. I am in the process of learning Japanese because of how polite people are in this country but it’s not going to be perfected soon. Please and kindly provide two permanent English speaking staff members at peak times in both the front desk and the dinning area as we have a lot hassle trying to explain our needs to your kind staff in English even while using Google translate. Thank you so much for your kindness and time to read my message.
