My family and I had an amazing time at this resort. From start to finish, the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Juan at the front desk greeted us with a warm welcome and complimentary fruit. He explained everything that the property offered so we could make the most of our short trip. The rooms were large and newly remodeled. The villa had everything we needed, and we made use of the washer and dryer. The property was well maintained and the amenities were easy to find. We really enjoyed Bingo and the hula hoop competition by the pool. We also used the jacuzzi at the main pool until 11pm. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in this area. Not too far from the attractions, but you have to account for some of the traffic when heading out.
We spent 3 weeks in this place it was amazing. Very clean staff are very helpful. We did not need room service but every time we ask for sheets or towels we got them delivered at any time. Again i can stress enough how clean this place was. Highly recommended for families specially if u have kids. Water park was very nice my kids loved the slides and its very safe too, it does not get crowded i guess since most people spend their days exploring disney but since we had 3 weeks definitely spent few days at the water park. All fees are included with the resort fee that believe it was reasonable. Some other places they rip you off with charges to park and to visit the pool. Also a full kitchen was nice to have some home made food
A compliment to start with: the staff at the reception and the pool bar were friendly and helpful. They really did their best to make guests feel welcome, and that deserves recognition. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was quite the opposite. The pool in particular was very disappointing. Instead of a relaxing atmosphere, there was a constant tense and unpleasant vibe due to the behavior of the lifeguards (there were 4 on duty). Every single movement of guests was disapproved of with a whistle. Jumping into the water was forbidden because it supposedly looked like diving – which is strange and excessive. This resulted in a near non-stop barrage of whistles, making it impossible to relax by the pool. At times it felt more like the yard of a prison than a vacation resort. What made things worse was the unprofessional behavior of some of the lifeguards. The blonde lifeguard openly made the “gunshot to the head” gesture, which was completely inappropriate. Another lifeguard, wearing a gold watch, seemed more focused on enforcing his own authority than ensuring safety. He even tried to give my 6-year-old son a “time-out” for supposedly breaking a rule that was not written or communicated anywhere. This was a sad testimony to a lack of professionalism and competence. The rooms themselves look fine at first sight, as they have been renovated and appear modern. However, despite their appearance, they are extremely noisy. Sounds from other guests could be heard very clearly, even conversations and the creaking of their beds. This meant that restful nights were hard to come by. During the weekends, the resort begins to feel more like a Carnival cruise ship than a Hilton property, with a loud and chaotic atmosphere. More than once there was also a strong smell of marijuana lingering around the property – to the point that it could even be smelled inside my bedroom. Needless to say, this does not contribute to a family-friendly environment. For a Hilton, I expected a pleasant, relaxing, and comfortable experience. Unfortunately, both the pool and the rooms turned out to be the biggest sources of frustration.
